You may link to threads on the

trainingwings community for your first person samples, as long as the thread in question is no older than three months. The thread or post must still have at least ten lines of dialog from your character to be considered.

If a mod does not accept your app right away, please be patient. We all have our own personal and busy lives to attend to, and there might be a period of time when it might take us days to get to the applications. There is also the possibility that we do not know the canon you are applying for, and we need time to study it. So please be patient and we will work as fast as we can to get you an answer. If it has been a week with no word, please feel free to message Akai (guynophobic), Masamune (masamune3x), or Emily (spark memories) on AIM, or email them at their respective email addresses found in the

luceti profile page.

Note: Applications are not always processed in the order they are received, due to the way they are divvied up between the moderators. If your application has been skipped, do not fret. Another mod will be getting to it soon enough. Additionally, you now have ONE WEEK to complete revision requests and Q&A's. You will be reminded of this deadline three days before it's up. After that week has passed, your application will no longer be considered for the current round. We apologize, but please be patient with us!

A note for applying here on Dreamwidth: Due to the character count limit being higher on DW, it might be tempting to toss the whole thing in one comment and leave it. However, we ask that you split the application up into at least two comments- the first containing your player information and (if you want) basic character info, the rest in another comment (or more, if you wish). This is to avoid having entire applications spanning the page and making it huge.

Splitting them up will make it easier for mods to process the applications. Thank you!

First Person: Let's go for Q&A!

Third Person:
It's the mark of a good fighter, she'd been told once, to never be over-confident no matter whom your opponent was. She'd kept that in mind all through her career and it had served her well (or at least relatively well, there were...occasions) and the jitters that had come with it had gotten easier as time wore by. Not that she'd done too much fighting till a few months ago, but even then, they didn't seem to have gotten any better now.

Duck, dodge to the right and go in—

The feeling of bone splintering underneath her fists (damage output raised with a pair of well-made knuckledusters) had never been something she'd enjoyed; rather, it was the feeling of safety that kept her going. The safety in knowing that it would take them a while to suck in the pain as they reeled from it as she moved in and hit again where it'd hurt the most, the safety in knowing that she was to live another day even if her heart was in her mouth as she dodged, hit, bounced back...

Oh, that thing about it getting easier? Nonsense. It was one thing to hold her own against the odd animal, it was another to be fighting— humanoids.

Inhale, exhale, focus, move.

A spear swung at her and she raised an arm to block its advance, wincing at the pain of the impact as the blunt end struck the back of her arm. She'd probably need some ice for that once she was done, but even then, she wondered briefly if there was even any ice out here on the battlefield. Hard to say, when the only thing in the vicinity were bodies, really. It's probably best to focus on the more important things— like staying alive.

Bracing herself momentarily against her aching arm and the spear (she could feel it moving backwards, a sign that it was time to move), she pushed back at the spear and leapt backwards, hopefully out of range.

"I'd give that a five out of ten," she quipped almost conversationally as she landed on her foot, pivoted, and dashed back into the fray.

1. How do you think you will benefit Luceti?
I don't know. I haven't seen the place myself so it's hard to make any guesses.

2. If you had to choose between obeying the person you respect and saving the person you love, which would you choose? Why?
That's too vague. I can't make a decision without knowing all the details. It's not a totally black and white situation, is it?

3. Which is more important; integrity or success?
Integrity, of course. There's no point in getting the right results if you're not doing them the right way, is there?

4. Are you a brave person? Do you face your fears or run away from them?
Is this an interview? [She tilts her head; there's a smile but no laugh.] No comment.

5. Have you ever been in love? How did it feel?
That's way too personal.

6. So when are you going to tie the knot with Ronyx? Gonna have kids? Sure you are! What'll you name 'em?
