You may link to threads on the
trainingwings community for your first person samples, as long as the thread in question is no older than three months. The thread or post must still have at least ten lines of dialog from your character to be considered. HERE is a word-counting tool to check your 3rd person samples.

Anakin is very emotional and passionate guy, and really, what he wants most is acceptance and for someone to understand him. Unfortunately, the person who he thought was the only one who truly understood him preyed upon his vulnerabilities and exploited them. To Anakin, Palpatine is the only one who accepted him no matter what he did, and accepted Anakin for who he is, not what he does. It was something Anakin greatly appreciated in the man. Unlike Obi-Wan who would scold and lecture Anakin for some of the things he did, Palpatine was the opposite, and even encouraged his behavior. Even when that behavior was violent. It was Palpatine's unconditional acceptance that made Anakin feel he could trust him above anyone else, even Obi-Wan, and later, even his wife.
Now at the age of twenty-two, Anakin has seen a lot of war and fought in countless battles. The Clone Wars have changed him quite a bit, making him seem more distant and aloof than he once was, but a lot of his old personality traits still can shine through. He still has his light sarcastic humor and is very well known to be witty with a sharp tongue. Obi-Wan can still bring out his playful banter and teasing, although now it's not as often seen from him much. Padmé can still bring out the very loving and tender side to him. He's still a man that craves adventure and excitement, a lot of it now is just buried beneath the effects of war and a lot of bitterness from events in his life.
Anakin made quite a name for himself during the Clone Wars, known as a brash and reckless Jedi who has his own way to do things. Because to Anakin, there is no impossible. And if it's one thing that Anakin has is luck. If it were anyone that could pull off some crazy, reckless move, it's him. It's his exceptional abilities and knowing he is the Chosen One that also gives him quite an ego. And it's that ego that makes him hate being reprimanded or lectured. He'll even go as far to go against orders to do things his way. But when he does, it's because Anakin will always go with what he feels is right. The morality he learned from his mother when he was young makes it hard to do otherwise. He's fiercely loyal to people, even droids such as R2-D2. He'll go above and beyond to save or help people, no matter what his orders are and what the danger is. He's gone on several rescue missions, against Council orders, to save other Jedi and even R2-D2. Anakin refuses to give up on anyone, even when others have.
So it's very obvious to see that despite being a Jedi, Anakin has very many traits that Jedi are not supposed to have. He can be stubborn, arrogant and jealous. Reckless and even at times foolish, though not so much now as he was when he was younger. He can be overly cocky and at times he thinks Obi-Wan and others are jealous of his abilities, even holding him back. He holds a lot of resentment for the fact it doesn't seem the other Jedi give him the recognition he thinks he deserves. If he thinks things aren't fair he can be quite the whiner about it those he's close to. It's hard to deny the fact Anakin is quite an exceptional Jedi, though. As a Jedi General in the war he would inspire great confidence in troops before they went into battle together, and you know if he's in charge he'll get things done. Despite his... very unconventional methods. He's a master at improvising, using anything to his advantage. He's the no-nonsense type, preferring to take action rather than wait around. He's also one to be very confrontational and he won't hold back. Enemies know that if Anakin Skywalker is after them, they need to be prepared. When he gets down to business he can be reasonable and level-headed. He'll take charge and lead with confidence, and despite his pride, he knows when to back down if it's too big of a risk to himself or others. He likes fighting, and when in battle or under pressure, he seems to have the clearest head and able to focus best in those times.
Even with all his confidence, being dubbed the "Hero with No Fear" when your fear is your biggest weakness can have quite a weight to it. On the outside to the public, Anakin is the Hero with No Fear, but inside it's his fear that controls him. It's his fear of loss and that he's never going to be good enough to save the people he cares about that leaves him uncertain a lot. After losing his mother Anakin became obsessed with gaining more power to save his loved ones. And in his mind he will stop at nothing to prevent that from happening again.
Anakin often wears his heart on his sleeve, and a lot of times it's very easy to tell if he's upset. He can be very moody and his anger is probably the most noticible. Sometimes he'll try to hide his feelings, brooding or sulking about things instead. Anakin can also be very ruthless and violent. If his superiors are around he mostly keeps this side to him in check, but if they're not around it can sometimes be a different story. For example, he's once gone as far as to Force Choke a prisoner to interrogate him, and would have done similar things to other prisoners if he had it his way. His emotions get the best of him, and no matter what Jedi training he has had and what the Jedi Code tells him, Anakin can't suppress them. He's very quick to anger and it can take control of him, a lot of times clouding his judgment.
Despite all of Anakin's faults and the things he's willing to do if he feels it's right, he really does have a good heart. He's very caring and kind, and once you have a bond with him you pretty much mean everything to him. He likes honesty and loyalty, only asking the same in return from people. If it's one thing he doesn't like, it's any kind of lying or deception. He hates disappointing people or letting them down. He's dedicated to what he does, to the point he'll push himself to his limits if he has to for a mission. Even with all the terrible things he's done, he does show guilt at times for doing them, because in his heart he knows them to be wrong. Like with Dooku and despite all the things the man did, Anakin still hesitated killing him. And after doing so felt remorse for his actions. And when Ahsoka told him that his actions do sometimes affect others, he started to take it into account and went about things on a mission in a different way. Even with being proud and arrogant, Anakin does try to listen to other people.
Strengths:
Being a Jedi, Anakin is a very skilled fighter and has a strong connection with the Force. He's mastered both Shien and Djem So forms of the Form V style lightsaber combat, and even has some training in Form VI for dual wielding. He's strong and he's quick, and he's able to use the Force to enhance a lot of his abilities in combat. With the Force, Anakin can jump higher, and do things like Force Push opponents away or even pull his lightsaber back to him if it's never knocked out of hand. Even when at a disadvantage, he uses his brute strength and quick movements to overpower opponents. If his emotions are high it only fuels him more, making him stronger and faster. His final battle with Dooku being a good example at this. Dooku, despite his almost flawless and refined lightsaber techniques, was eventually overcome by Anakin's emotional driven attacks.
Ever since he was a small child, Anakin has had a way with building things. He even says so proudly that he can fix anything. By nine-years-old he had started repairing an old scraped droid that would later come to be known at C-3PO. He had even started working on his own podracer. He'll often tinker with with just about anything mechanical to enhance it. He's equipped R2-D2 with quite a few things and even enhanced his own cybernetic right arm to make it better. He's quite brilliant behind all that ego. He's a quick learner and catches onto things quickly.
Though he does have a hard time keeping some of his emotions in check, Anakin can think quickly in a pinch and will keep a level head under pressure. He can pretty much take whatever is thrown at him in stride, often able to do things that seem impossible. In his canon point he just got back from landing half a ship that wasn't even meant be landed. And it was on fire. He's brave and will take on any challenge thrown at him.
Anakin is also a very caring individual and friendship is one of the most important things to him. He'll try to help anyone and will boost people's confidence when they need it.
Weaknesses:
He still has the physical limitations humans do. He's lost his right arm in a duel and has many scars covering his body to show that yes, he is still very much human and able to be hurt. If it's his anger that takes over, while it can make him stronger on the offensive, it can even leave him open to attack defensively. The end of his duel with Obi-Wan on Mustafar is prime example of this. His arrogance and anger had taken over and left him wide open. Even his first encounter with Dooku where he lost his arm is a good example.
Anakin can be a bit awkward socially. After being brought to the Jedi Temple, he didn't have too many friends as he grew up. He accelerated at training faster than most and so he thought of himself better than them. So now, he doesn't really know when to hold back when talking to people. He can be very blunt and a little too honest.
Of course, Anakin's biggest weakness is his fear. His fear of losing the ones that are dear to him can easily control him and, ultimately, will lead him down the path of the Dark Side to become Darth Vader. His fear leads him to think irrationally and will make him do things even he sees as wrong. He's killed beings in cold blood, some with no remorse for doing so. He knew what he was doing when he was slaughtering the Sand People, even in killing the women and children. Which leads to another one of his bigger weaknesses, his anger. Like his fear, it also can very easily control him and his actions. He often holds grudges and can be vengeful.
Anakin also has the problem of being very arrogant and impulsive. For all of his strength, he has no restraint or balance, often at times very unpredictable. And while that sometimes can be a good things with the type of person he is, it just goes to show how despite what he thinks otherwise, he still does have a lot to learn.

First Person: Q&A, please!
Third Person:
The village was quiet, sparse. A lot like many of the small civilizations he had come across in the years. There were no speeders flying overhead, no HoloNet, not much of anything. Primitive even. It was almost cozy here, despite how weird the place was. The wings, though, they were something Anakin never thought he would get used to. Hoped he didn't have to. Even with them hidden beneath his robe he could still feel them there, brushing against the fabric as he walked. They were in the way and an annoyance. And a weakness.
Maybe he was just angry. Choosing to be annoyed at every little thing. A week ago he had been back at Coruscant, back on the shuttle to the Senate Offices to meet with the senators after such a long awaited victory. There was only one Senator he wanted to see, however. One he hadn't seen in months, and there was finally a chance to see her again after so long. And it was taken away again. It wasn't fair.
Anakin's thoughts were cut short as he walked into the item shop. Building things always proved as a good distraction, he just needed parts. He was more than relieved to have found his lightsaber here after arriving in the days earlier, but despite how well stocked the shops were, there wasn't anything very useful. Well, to Anakin at least. It was difficult trying to figure out a way out of here when you're not given much.
As he began another search, he started growing more frustrated by the minute at coming up with a whole lot of nothing. 'Oh come on...'
A few wires, parts to something... Wait.
"Artoo?"
He was answered with a cheerful beep of acknowledgement that he was so familiar with. Well, maybe this trip wasn't wasted at all.

To be the greatest Jedi the galaxy has ever seen. [It's said with a light but smug tone. Humility? Him? Pfft.]
2. Who is the most important person in your life, and why?
[This question doesn't even require thought. Padmé, without a doubt, is the most important person in his life. She's his wife and pretty much his everything. But it's not something Anakin can admit freely, so after a moment he answers with the response he's supposed to give.]
Attachment is forbidden for a Jedi, so importance of one sole person isn't exactly something one should have. [A pause. His voice is lighter when he speaks again.] But... Obi-Wan and Senator Amidala do mean a lot to me. The Chancellor as well. Obi-Wan has been a great mentor and I wouldn't have asked for anyone else as a Master. Senator Amidala, she's just... different. And the Chancellor is a good man, he's always there to listen.
3. If you had to choose between obeying the person you respect and saving the person you love, which would you choose? Why?
Saving the person I love. Sometimes you have to go against orders to do what's right. Disobeying can be forgiven, letting someone die can't.
4. Do you have any regrets? If so, what are they?
A few. [He admits lightly.] Mostly things I've failed on. [He's not opening up to that one, too personal. Next question.]
5. Have you ever been cruel to someone? Do you regret it? If you haven't - would you be cruel, and would you regret?
[He's... done some questionable things, but never really has he been outright cruel. At least, he doesn't think he has. He purses his lips a moment before finally shaking his head.]
No. I would never intently. I don't—I don't think I can. [Though sometimes he's not so sure. Sometimes he wants to.] Even if that person was my greatest enemy I would regret it.
