Note: Applications are not always processed in the order they are received, due to the way they are divvied up between the moderators. If your application has been skipped, do not fret. Another mod will be getting to it soon enough. Additionally, you now have ONE WEEK to complete revision requests and Q&A's. You will be reminded of this deadline three days before it's up. A note for applying here on Dreamwidth: Due to the character count limit being higher on DW, it might be tempting to toss the whole thing in one comment and leave it. However, we ask that you split the application up into at least two comments- the first containing your player information and (if you want) basic character info, the rest in another comment (or more, if you wish). This is to avoid having entire applications spanning the page and making it huge.

The years passed and the economics and political strife of several countries around the planet began to become more and more apparent. Normally they would have been kept hidden and under wraps from most citizens but riots and full blown governmental upheavals were leading into a period of utter worldwide duress. To say the least Silth and his group were gaining the attention of many a person. The Kingdom and country of Calabaria was a militaristic kingdom that, throughout Silth’s mid-twenties and thirties, led campaigns against destroying and over taking many of their neighboring countries. This persistent boarder struggles would enact a war that would last for a span over a thousand years with brief periods of peace and then bouts of deadly warfare in between. Calabaria was persistent in its goal of greed and taking over the planet entirely and what better person to encounter during this time than Silth Sananurgue?

It wasn’t until he happened upon the town, known as Fauxl, in the country of Calabaria that he met a woman to whom he would be indebted to and who would all at once cause him to fall into ruin. Her name was Ange Merclo she was Calabarian and she was also a spy. They met at one of Silth’s demonstrations in which he used jata to explain how it could be used for technological purposes along with protection as well. In a way Silth was feeding into the Calabarian’s and their ways for war-like behaviors, it was a good business strategy and caught the eye of the royal court. Ange and Silth met in a blackened alley way to which Silth had almost killed the young woman thinking she was an assassin sent to quell his infamy and war propelling demonstrations, but no, it was nothing of the sort. Unfortunately there was another woman there that night intent on doing much the same thing only her motives were to kill the rulers of Calabaria and reign it together with Silth as his Queen. She was known and called Versa.

As for Silth and Ange in that infinitesimal second Slith actually felt…something along the lines of love. With his own time being invested in jata and overall public appearances Silth had no time to ever even consider something along the lines of a relationship. But there was something about Ange that struck him as…interesting. She promised him fame and fortune a good income and a steady homey life should he stay here and train Calabarian soldiers in the ways of jata. With finally a place to call his own? A home, a real true home, that wasn’t the plains or random inns in little side towns? It was almost a dream come true to him and he would gain his first ever citizenship from Calabaria. So he acquiesced to her request to meet her in the royal court the next day.

The next is somewhat infamous history. The government of Calabaria tested and spoke to Silth for many hours to make sure he wasn’t a spy from a neighboring country and he wasn’t fooling them. Silth was soon appointed head overseer of the Calabarian military magic faction, the front lines of the army and he was even given a personal estate outside of the city to use in his own research and time. What he did not tell the Calabarian government that day was that he and his fellow students which there were nine at the time were all avid practitioners of necromancy. Necromancy gained an inherent distaste by most cultures and countries by this period of time simply because it scared and irked most people who prayed and worshipped the more standard religions of the time. Death was something natural, something that came because it had to come by the god’s decree; to go against it was like heresy and to break that which the gods declared was an unseemly act of defiance. Silth did it because, well, he was pompous that way and he believed in no gods and only the powers which he had gained and was bestowed upon him by the spirits. Despite the existing danger Silth has caused himself, it was a matter of self preservation at that point, because if he had told them what he was truly, deep down inside, a con-artist a wandering gypsy without a clan, a man born from the dirt and soil which lay beneath their feet they would execute him immediately. And so he went several years without the Calabarian government knowing. And in those several years he became infatuated with the young Calabarian spy, Ange Merclo, while also deflecting the continuous advances of her protégé Versa Hian. Silth, had he been better at it, would have noticed the advances odd and almost borderline stalker but he simply called Versa a delusional and crazy girl and that he would tell the general of Calabaria of her “dreams” and have her locked should she not stop her relentless advances towards him. She did and was thus never seen again, or, well, only in the background for now.
