You may link to threads on the

We all have our own personal and busy lives to attend to, and there might be a period of time when it might take us days to get to the applications. There is also the possibility that we do not know the canon you are applying for, and we need time to study it. So please be patient and we will work as fast as we can to get you an answer. Note: Applications are not always processed in the order they are received, due to the way they are divvied up between the moderators. If your application has been skipped, do not fret. Another mod will be getting to it soon enough. Additionally, you now have ONE WEEK to complete revision requests and Q&A's. You will be reminded of this deadline three days before it's up. After that week has passed, your application will no longer be considered for the current round. We apologize, but please be patient with us!

A note for applying here on Dreamwidth: Due to the character count limit being higher on DW, it might be tempting to toss the whole thing in one comment and leave it. However, we ask that you split the application up into at least two comments- the first containing your player information and (if you want) basic character info, the rest in another comment (or more, if you wish). This is to avoid having entire applications spanning the page and making it huge.

Samples

First Person: Ehhh, let's do a Q&A again.

Third Person:

Luke and Obi-Wan were probably already aware of his return: it was hard to miss Anakin's Force signature. But even still, it took Anakin nearly an hour to start the trek out of the forest and in toward the village. He remembered everything from before he was returned home, right down to the painful memories of being told both his and Padmé's fate. Having to learn all that again wasn't any easier the second time around, in fact it was probably even more difficult this time. Anakin realized he hadn't remembered his time in Luceti when he was sent back home, which means everything would go just as they were foretold and there was nothing Anakin could do to put a stop to it. So Anakin needed some time before he could check in on everyone.

The village was just the same as he remembered it, right down to all the little details he had memorized in the time he was here before. Like the way the dirt path felt underneath his feet as he walked, or the placement of the benches that were around the village. How much time had even passed anyway? It could have been an hour or a week or a month for all he knew. It didn't look like too much time had passed at least, so it eased his guilt of having probably just disappeared one day. He still grimaced a bit at the thought of having just left everyone behind, though. He never would have left any of them here in this place willingly. He just hopes they've all been well while he was gone. He'd probably never forgive himself if something had happened and he wasn't here to help any of them.

'...I should be worrying about them right now.'

He finally pushes all other thoughts aside and opens the journal he had been carrying with him. With a deep breath, Anakin opens the journal and starts recording a voice entry. He can deal with the other things later.

1. What is your greatest fear?

Not being able to protect the ones I love, that I'll be unable to stop things from happening. We're taught, as Jedi, to let go of attachment because fear will only lead to suffering and hate, but I never really agreed with that. It's not that simple.

2. Who is the most important person in your life, and why?

[He pauses briefly, pursing his lips.]

I believe you asked this last time too, though now the answer has changed from what I said before. Well, a little at least. Obi-Wan and Padmé are still very important to me, just for all they've done and who they are. And now there's Luke... I could say a lot about him, really. He was strong when I couldn't be, and he didn't even have to. I don't... [He pauses. This isn't a thing he really wants to talk about so openly, so after a moment Anakin continues, but more curt.] Not the best analogy but Luke is that shining light in a dark room, I'll put it that way.

3. What, in your opinion, is your greatest asset?

[Oh, this is an easy one. Anakin's expression turns a little smug.]

My skills as a Jedi and everything it entails. I can use those skills to protect and fight, and even guide others when they need a leader.

4. If you had to choose between saving someone else's life and saving yours, which would you pick? Why?

Someone else's, always. It's not just my duty to protect others, it's... if I chose to save my life over someone else the gulit would eat at me. Protecting and helping others will always be really important to me, because I know it's a strength I have, something I'm good at. So if it takes giving up my life to save another then it wouldn't even be a choice, it would just be instinct.

5. If you could change anything about the world, what would it be and why?

Just some of the people in it. The galaxy deserves peace, so if I could I'd try to make all the fighting end. I'd make people try to agree with each other, or at least have to agree with the one person in charge. Maybe it could put an end to war and fighting for good.

[Yeaaah, Anakin's political views are a little warped.]
