We all have our own personal and busy lives to attend to, and there might be a period of time when it might take us days to get to the applications. There is also the possibility that we do not know the canon you are applying for, and we need time to study it. So please be patient and we will work as fast as we can to get you an answer. Note: Applications are not always processed in the order they are received, due to the way they are divvied up between the moderators. If your application has been skipped, do not fret. Another mod will be getting to it soon enough. Additionally, you now have ONE WEEK to complete revision requests and Q&A's. You will be reminded of this deadline three days before it's up. After that week has passed, your application will no longer be considered for the current round. We apologize, but please be patient with us!

A note for applying here on Dreamwidth: Due to the character count limit being higher on DW, it might be tempting to toss the whole thing in one comment and leave it. However, we ask that you split the application up into at least two comments- the first containing your player information and (if you want) basic character info, the rest in another comment (or more, if you wish). This is to avoid having entire applications spanning the page and making it huge.

Splitting them up will make it easier for mods to process the applications. Thank you!

Flat | Top-Level Comments Only

Strengths:
Physical: He is a total freaking powerhouse. His physique goes unrivaled in Birth By Sleep and possibly throughout all of Kingdom Hearts. He has the highest strength and defense stats out of the three playable characters (himself, Ventus and Aqua) and can hold his own in battle very well due to his high survivability and all of the physical damage he can dish out. He’s trained for years under Master Eraqus to learn how to use a Keyblade, which is his main weapon in combat. He’s very much capable of fighting even without the keyblade, thanks to his great physical prowess.

Like Ventus and Aqua, Terra has access to abilities called command styles. They allow Terra’s attacks and abilities to become bolstered and/or changes in battle based on the attacks he uses on his enemies. His exclusive styles (Critical Impact, Rockbreaker and Dark Impulse), for example, activate when he uses physical, mine/blade based or darkness/gravity based command attacks, respectively. With Aqua, he shares the blade charge style, which is triggered with fire, blizzard or strike commands. With both Aqua and Ventus, he has access to firestorm, diamond dust and thunderbolt, triggered by fire, ice and lightning attacks, respectively. Each style changes up Terra’s attack patterns, allowing for more variety in battle. Dark Impulse remains exclusive to Terra because of being so dangerously close to darkness.

Along with command styles are another ability called D-Links, which allow Terra, Aqua and Ventus to call upon the power of their friends to aid them in battle, no matter where they are. This basically changes the user’s style to something based on the friend whose power they’re calling for, so calling on Aqua, for example, would allow Terra to utilize her wide range of magic in battle.

Shotlocks are another kind of attack that allow Terra to lock onto opponents and unleash various kinds of hell upon them. Much like command styles, Terra shares quite a few of them with Ventus and Aqua, but he has several exclusive shotlocks for him to call his own: dark volley, sonic shadow and ultima cannon. The first two allow him to utilize ranged and physical attacks aligned with darkness, but Ultima Cannon transforms his keyblade into a large cannon that can fire large blasts that can explode upon contact.

...yeah, Terra, Ventus and Aqua are really damn powerful.

Mental/Emotional: During the heat of most confrontations and problems, Terra can hold himself together very well. Very rarely does he allow his weaknesses to become apparent, so he’s a figure people can trust. Likewise, he can trust others fairly easily, going so far as to help them out with anything they may be having trouble with.

His strongest traits in this category are, of course, his fierce loyalty to his friends (particularly Ventus and Aqua) and his indomitable willpower. Even during scenarios when all may appear to be lost, Terra is never the kind of person who would back down if he believed what he was doing was right. No matter what, Terra is a man of his word, so he will see things through to the very end, no matter what he has to do to get there.
