You may link to threads on the

trainingwings community for your first person samples, as long as the thread in question is no older than three months. The thread or post must still have at least ten lines of dialog from your character to be considered.

If a mod does not accept your app right away, please be patient. We all have our own personal and busy lives to attend to, and there might be a period of time when it might take us days to get to the applications. There is also the possibility that we do not know the canon you are applying for, and we need time to study it. So please be patient and we will work as fast as we can to get you an answer. If it has been a week with no word, please feel free to message Akai (guynophobic), Masamune (masamune3x), or Emily (spark memories) on AIM, or email them at their respective email addresses found in the

luceti profile page.

Note: Applications are not always processed in the order they are received, due to the way they are divvied up between the moderators. If your application has been skipped, do not fret. Another mod will be getting to it soon enough. Additionally, you now have ONE WEEK to complete revision requests and Q&A's. You will be reminded of this deadline three days before it's up. After that week has passed, your application will no longer be considered for the current round. We apologize, but please be patient with us!

A note for applying here on Dreamwidth: Due to the character count limit being higher on DW, it might be tempting to toss the whole thing in one comment and leave it. However, we ask that you split the application up into at least two comments- the first containing your player information and (if you want) basic character info, the rest in another comment (or more, if you wish). This is to avoid having entire applications spanning the page and making it huge.

Splitting them up will make it easier for mods to process the applications. Thank you!

First Person: Q&A, please!

Third Person:

It had been a few hours since she had woken up in a snow drift, and Noa was quickly coming to the conclusion that this place was No Fun. At all.

Despite having grown up in a place called Snowdrift Cave, sleeping in an actual snow drift was not on her list of things to do.

Her first order of business (hopping from foot to foot while rubbing her arms in an attempt to warm up) was interrupted abruptly by the realization that Vahn and Gala were not nearby. Panic had set in immediately. Ignoring the weird white dress she was in, she started dashing frantically through the snow, calling for her friends. Terra's gentle presence in her mind, the Ra-Seru's familiar weight on her arm, wasn't doing much to reassure the young girl. Terra had the same touch of panic in her voice as she called out for Meta and Ozma, hearing nothing in return.

Shivering, blinking back tears, Noa sniffled. "Terra...? Can you sense any Genesis Trees? Maybe they're looking for us too. I bet they'd look there."

There was a long moment of silence. Eventually, Noa could feel Terra's hesitation at the edge of her mind.

There are no Genesis Trees that I can sense. Noa's tears started to spill over faster. Terra hurriedly continued, Noa! Now is not the time to panic. I can sense people nearby - a village, I think!

The tears stopped. "Maybe they can tell us where we are!"

Yes, Noa. I'm sure they can.

The small girl perked up, determination settling into her face. Time to scoop this out! She'd find her way to the village, ask where it was, and see if anybody had seen a boy with blue hair or a big guy with bright blue eyes. (Although how they could have without Terra being able to find Meta and Ozma was something she was a little lost on, but that didn't dampen her spirit.)

What she didn't count on was getting hopelessly sidetracked by all the cool things to look at in the village. Or all the new people to talk to. Or how everyone had wings - wings - how weird! But they couldn't fly. Which was just silly. Maybe they all just needed the Soren to teach them how. You can't have wings and not be able to fly!

About the time she came across a talking lion - apparently some creature that looked kind of like a Freed, only less spiky - and flailed excitedly, Terra gave a soft sigh.

Wherever they were, whatever had happened, it would probably take a little longer to find out.

1. How do you think you will benefit Luceti?
I like helping people! I like helping people, so I can do a lot around the village! Terra says there isn't any Mist here, but I can help with more than just beating up monsters and getting rid of Mist. I promise!

2. What would you call your greatest strength?
Oh, oh! We fight a lot! Terra helps me fight the Seru and destroy the Mist Generators. Vahn and Gala and Meta and Ozma help too. Before we met them, I had to fight a lot harder, but I think we've gotten a lot stronger since then! I don't think I could have fought Xain without Vahn and Gala...

...Terra? What do you mean, that's what they meant?

3. Describe the happiest and saddest moments of your life.
Happiest... happiest... hmm. Oh! When I met Vahn, I was really happy! He promised he would travel with me so I wouldn't be alone, and Vahn wouldn't ever break a promise.

I... do I have to say what was saddest? Um. When we got back to Conkram after we destroyed the last Mist Generator. Mother and Father...

4. Describe what the word 'honor' means to you.
Honor? Doesn't "honor" mean doing the right thing and being good? People are always calling Gala honorable, but he's just real serious. But he'd protect any of us and he fights to save the world, so that makes him honorable... right?

5. Describe something you like to do for fun.
I like to dance! Vahn and Gala even said I could enter a dance contest in Sol one time. A lot of the people there are really nice! Oh, and the flying trains were really fun until it crashed, that wasn't fun at all... And flying with the Soren, too! They're so strong...! And helping Maya cook...

6. You know, the raised by wolves thing isn't even that original.
But it's true! And there was only one wolf. Right, Terra? I'm not making it up, Vahn can tell you...

7. Seriously. Mowgli did that a long time ago. Raised by wolves is just a trope at this point.
Trope? "Trope." What's a trope? Is it a kind of food?

8. And really, a snowy mountain? In that number? You would have froze a long time ago!
It got kinda cold, but I had Terra with me! I had Terra, and she kept me warm whenever it was too cold or snowy. We never froze! It was a lot colder in Buma!

9. Kids! I swear!
