Note: Applications are not always processed in the order they are received, due to the way they are divvied up between the moderators. If your application has been skipped, do not fret. Another mod will be getting to it soon enough. Additionally, you now have ONE WEEK to complete revision requests and Q&A's. You will be reminded of this deadline three days before it's up. After that week has passed, your application will no longer be considered for the current round. We apologize, but please be patient with us!

A note for applying here on Dreamwidth: Due to the character count limit being higher on DW, it might be tempting to toss the whole thing in one comment and leave it. However, we ask that you split the application up into at least two comments- the first containing your player information and (if you want) basic character info, the rest in another comment (or more, if you wish). This is to avoid having entire applications spanning the page and making it huge.

First Person: Q&A, please!

Third Person:

It's strange, but even after travelling all over Areulla and visiting many towns and cities and varying sizes, the feeling of entering a new village for the first time was always exciting. So much so that just thinking about where he was, taking the time to look at his surroundings and explore a little, helped to calm Caius. Of course he was worried about Rubia, his other friends, his now lost brother... But everything just seemed to take a backseat for a moment.

Taking slow steps on each well walked path of the village, taking in every little tree and building along the way. The village had a sort of odd beauty about it. No, maybe not beauty. It's a hard feeling for him to describe. Caius can barely stop himself from breaking into a run and checking out all the village has to offer in a instant! But running headlong into things rarely gave any favourable results. It would be better to slow down, amble for a moment or two, enjoy this moment while it lasts. After all, once he's seen all there is to see in the village this strange feeling would vanish.

It seems this village has a fountain, quite the novel sight to the boy. Whilst Janna had many intricate and overwhelming water ways it never had something this simple. Caius walks into the plaza and admires the water feature, stepping around it and looking it over. How is it possible to make water flow like that anyway?

Stopping for a moment, he smiles to himself. He never would have thought he would be comparing Janna to anything like this. Have his standards really rose from what they were in the past? Back then, Fern would be at the front of his mind whenever he entered somewhere new. But now, here he was comparing the capital to this village as though it were his hometown. But as Rubia said time and time again, would it really be worth comparing a tiny town like Fern to something like this? Fern didn't have multi-storey buildings like this. Or a fountain. Or even proper pathways! The closest thing Fern would ever have to a fountain would be a well-- No, they're just much too different from one another. Different in more ways than Caius could probably ever think of.

Having finished inspecting the fountain, Caius turns to walk off down another path. What else could this village have past a simple fountain? ...He wants to find out, sooner rather than later. All thoughts about savouring the moment are pushed aside as Caius takes off down the path and off into another part of the village. It wasn't like he was wasting this novel feeling, rather he was just trying to enjoy as much of it as he could at once.

1. What, in your opinion, is your greatest asset?
Well I'm pretty good at fighting. I can handle a whole pack of monsters easily! Though my Leymon blood is probably my best asset. Being part Leymon means I can transform into a wereman and be a bigger help in fights and things. Plus being half Leymon and half human must be proof that the two can live together in peace!

2. If you could be reborn as someone else, who would you be? Why?
There's really no need to be someone else, is there? I mean, you are you. You're unique! If you wanted to be like everyone else or even be reborn as someone, or something else then you're not being true to yourself. What would your mum and dad think if you wanted to be someone else, huh? You should be happy enough with who you are so to always want to be yourself.

3. Describe the happiest and saddest moments of your life.
Finding out who my real dad was. We didn't have long together at all, but those few seconds where we spoke will always be with me. The saddest was... Well, dad-- Ramrus, I mean... The man who brought me up died in front of me and there was nothing I could do to bring him back. We fought, and... You know what? It doesn't matter now. My life still has a long way to go. I'll just start living twice as hard for his sake!

4. Describe what the word 'justice' means to you.
Not purging the world of Leymon for the sake of humans, or because Leymon are terrifying beasts, or any of the other trash you hear about from the prosecutors, that's for certain! Justice is about being kind and equal to all people, no matter what they look like or where they're from.

5. Do you value yourself? Do you think others around you value you? What would you say is your personal worth?
I value myself pretty highly! And Rubia must value me a lot with all I do for her, protecting her, making sure she stays out of trouble and stuff. At one point I thought I was worthless and not worth the time of day. But now I like to think I'm fairly worthwhile as the son of Lady Melissa and the Pope, one of the last members of the Leymon Royal Family! ...Hehe, it's a nice title to have when you say it like that.

6. So I hear you're part lycanth.
If you want to put it like that, then yeah. 'Part Leymom' is a better way of putting it. 'Lycanth' is what the prosecutors of the Church use.

7. Ever get any strange urges, like wanting to howl at the moon?
...What? Do people who are already strange really get urges like that?

8. Chase a cat?
Why would I ever get the urge to chase a cat?

9. Piss on a tree? Come on, I know you've done that one!
Th-The hell?! What's wrong with you?! If you're purposely trying to tick me off then you're doing a good job of it! --Wait, what are you implying!? I'm nothing like a dog!!

10. ...Dude why do you have a skunk stripe in your hair? That's such a bizarre fashion choice. Even more bizarre than those dog paw shoes of yours.
Shut up already!! There's nothing bizarre about my hair, or my shoes! At least I don't wear stupid flower shaped clothing like Rubia or something like that!!
