Name: Arata Kasuga Fandom: Trinity Seven Gender: Male Age: Unknown. Estimated to be 16-18 Time Period: Post Chapter 19 Wing Color: Black History: (WARNING: The plot will not make much sense since it's tough to condense.)
Arata's daily life was the usual thing! He went to school, made wise cracks about the breast size of his cousin, Hijiri... And he pretty much lived his life peacefully. Until one day, he realized that the sun was a completely different color than usual... A black sun had appeared and only Arata was the one who could see it. During that day, Arata and Hijiri had encountered a magician named Lilith who tells Arata that he needed to 'wake up' or she would kill him. Arata takes the threat in stride, but it doesn't leave his mind until he encounters her again with the same notice. Whenever Arata goes to the rooftop, he realizes that even the moon had turned black. Hijiri appears to tell Arata that this was how things always were and it was the world that he had desired. Before she could continue her odd persuasion moves on Arata, Lilith appears and reveals her identity as a magician and attacks Hijiri. At this point, it's revealed that the "Hijiri" that was talking with Arata was actually a shadow of her. Now this is where things begin to get odd, it turns out that the current world that Arata was in was actually a fake one and she reveals that Arata's home town was completely destroyed in the real one. Arata's repressed memories start to return as he remembers people being absorbed by the Black Sun and the environment being destroyed around them. The real Hijiri gives Arata a magical grimore to grant him a wish and tells him to never forget her before she ends up disappearing. After his flashback ends, the fake Hijiri ends up clarifying even further that Arata had ended up using a "World Reconstruction Spell" without even knowing how. This is where Lilith ends up giving Arata a choice... Either she would take the grimone and erase all of his memories of his friends and Hijiri or let him have the grimore, but kill him. Like the badass protagonist he is, Arata chooses a third option and decides to keep the Grimonre and his memories of his friends. After this, Arata asks the fake Hijiri if the real one was still alive. We learn that since the fake Hijiri lives, this means that the real one still exists... But she happens to be crossing around time and space somewhere. It was at this point that Arata had decided that he would become a powerful magician to find her. After this, he ends up attending Royal Biblica Academy where Lilith is revealed to be his teacher.
News had buzzed around the school with Arata's new arrival. Being a student who was already considered to be the next "Magic King Candidate", his appearance happened to be a really big deal. Now it's time to cover a little bit on what Royal Biblica Academy actually does. The Academy happens to be a super secret organization that trains mages from all over the world. With a little funding from other countries, the mages go out to investigate unresolved problems and mysterious incidences that are magic related. As Arata speaks with the head chairmen, he discovers that there can be a quicker way for him to learn magic - And that would be learning from the 'Trinity Seven'. They happen to be seven elite magicians that happens to experts in their specific magical field (and Lilith is one of them). Arata ends up meeting with a few of the other members of the group - Levi Kazama, Mira Yamana, Akira Fudou and Serina Celes (who happens to be a reporter, but she isn't one of them). Also he ends up meeting a girl who looks exactly like Hijiri in the baths, but it turns out that she is also another Trinity Seven member named Arin Kannazuki. Right after this, Levi, Lilith and Serina are together in Arata's room for their own personal motivations (if you know what I mean, I kid). More information about Arata's grimore is revealed! He happens to be carrying the "Astil Manuscript" that is said to contain information about another world. Then we get more information from Lilith that goes into more about how magicians use their magic. All magicians require a research concept that they call their 'theme' to start off. Information about those are recorded with manuscripts. While Arata and the others are inside the room, Arin and the headmaster set up a barrier to test Arata. The girls and him end up destroying the barrier and even have time for a potty break at the end. At this point, it's revealed that the Headmaster wants to discover if Arata will become an evil mage and if Arin will become Arata's new partner as the Magic King. On the next day, Arin is following Arata around everywhere which throws off his groove for a bit. The reasoning behind this is that Arin has to observe the current Magic King candidate. Arin explains to him and Lilith about the shenanigans that happened the other day and that the Headmaster was behind them. The situation was to put Arata in a dilemma where he would trigger that Breakdown Phenomena again. To clarify a little, it seems that the Magic King is focused more as a 'possible threat' or a 'villain' to the members of Magus because of the fact that they can control the Breakdown Phenomena and destroy the world. Arin ends up activating her Thema (Runa) and removes the restraints that the Grimore has placed on Arata's magical powers. His powers begun to go berserk and the school begins to collapse and disintegrate into particles. Even a Black Sun ends up appearing in the sky. The reasoning behind Aria's actions is explained simply: A mage means researching something no matter how far it strays into inhuman territories. Akio Fudou and Mira Yamama appear to put a stop to the Breakdown Phenomena and seemly kill Arata.
Of course, there's no way that the main character can die off this early in the story. The Breakdown Phenomena still continues with Arata gone and he wakes up in a strange world. A girl named Yui Kurata (who happens to be another member of Trinity Seven) appears to tell Arata that she appeared at the last minute to pull him out of danger. At this point, Arata ends up learning that the Breakdown Phenomena is still going because of himself and resolves to stop it. Yui explains that Arata can actually control that power with his 'thema'. We get an explanation that the themes are split into the Seven Deality Sins - Superbia (Pride), Ira (Wrath), Ararita (Sloth), Invida (Envy), Acedia (Greed), Luxuria (Lust) and Gula (Lust). The sins act as achieves and a magician finds a thema associated with one. Arata ponders and gets a clue to a thema after seeing Mira's thema in action. Arata returns to the real world and activates his theme: "Rule". While he manages to negate the Breakdown Phenomena, he also ends up negating all other magic in the area and the girls' clothing as a result. Oops. Good going, Arata. The day is strippe-- I mean, saved. And now we move onto a beach chapter. Everyone at the school is partying while the Headmaster is repairing the school from last arc's incident. Arata and Arin are cooking for everyone as punishment for their latest antics. Serina asks to see Arata's new technique where he ends up negating her clothes and the usual love comedy antics occur. Later that evening, the group head down to the hot springs and the girls learn more about Arata's serious motivations to save Hijiri. In order to assist his quest, they decide to see what they can do about controlling Arata's new found abilities. With some shocking begging on his part, Arata asks for a way he can copy Lilith's Outer Alchemy magic and ends up turning his Grimore into a gun. From this, it's discovered that Arata can actually end up copying and mastering the Trinity Seven members' magic abilities. After these events, the group ends up returning to the repaired school.
