First Person: This place sort of reminds reminds me of home. Heh, kidnapping and the wings aside, I could almost be back in Blue Canyon Hamlet if I squinted. 'Course there are a lot more good looking girls and people my own age here.
But, anyway, this isn't about that. This is an announcement to declare that the Something Random item shop is now open for business! The name's a work in progress but we're here to stay. We don't just make new things, we can also take your old weapons and make them awesome again. All I need is some material and a few hours.
Third Person: Aoto couldn't tell you what happened between point A and point B. He couldn't describe what it was like being yanked from one world and thrown into another, he could only vaguely answer that he remembered thinking that he had more important things to do than to go on a trip. He couldn't tell you what was after Point A, he was too busy focusing on the fact that after this they could regenerate their broken planet and he could take his friends out to see the ocean.
What he could tell you was that Point B was cold, wet, and deeper than he expected.
The ocean was so vast it was practically suffocating. Not just because he'd found himself sucking water in when he should have been holding his breath, but because once he broke the surface it simply seemed to go on forever. The young steeplejack apprentice kicked his feet, coughing and wheezing while doing his damnedest to avoid the water-ship that rocked nearby. It would be absolutely breath taking, if his breath hadn't already been taken by the nasty waves rolling over his head.
It's cold. Really cold. The chunks of ice should have been a dead give away but he should not be in here. What was his luck these days? Aoto twisted, turning to look at the high ledge of the ship. The sides were probably too slick to climb, but...
There!
The rope! Aoto braced one hand against the thick block of ice in front of him, kicked one foot out to propel himself forward and reached, flinching at the blast of pain that raced down his shoulders at the action. Almost, almost - there!
The climb wasn't his best. He managed slowly, inching up the rope until he was able to clamber over the side. Once inside, he shuddered, jumping from foot to foot in an attempt to keep himself warm. "Whoo, I thought I might really be done for that time..." A glance over the ship. Completely deserted... Was this some trick? This certainly wasn't anywhere on the Tower. "... Tyria, Saki, Cocona, Finnel, Gojo... Are they here too?" A stubborn shake of his head. As much as he'd like to go look, he'd freeze at this rate. "Clothes first. Gotta warm up. I'd have heard it if they were in there with me."
