Raenef is a very nice, happy, optimistic Demon Lord. All of which he should not be considering…he’s not supposed to be like that. No matter how much Eclipse, or anybody tries to change him, it cannot be done. He likes being the way he is, and thinks that even though he is supposed to be a mean, and evil Demon Lord, that is not a good enough reason for him to glare at everybody, and kill. (He also has an extremely weak stomach, and faints at the sight of death and blood, and will cry over the death of a giant talking tomato from his dreams) And since when he does try to act like a Demon Lord, he gets laughed at, and patted on the head while being called cute. Though if it weren’t his friends saying such things, he might bite the hand that’s patting him.
The boy also has the attention span of a child. During his lessons, if he is not being watched carefully enough, he will fall asleep while taking notes, or just find something else to distract himself, even if that’s just twirling a pen, or looking outside wishing that Eclipse would stop talking about boring things and let him do as he pleases. (Whacking him on the head will get him to pay attention for a little longer though) Also, with any problem, he handles them all like a child. Thinking of the most obvious thing that comes to mind first. Like if he suddenly can’t use his magic, he thinks someone took it.
He is also very respectful to everyone he meets. Calling them ‘mister’ or ‘ma’am’, especially if they are someone important, or he just doesn’t know their name. (And to learn someone’s name he has to repeat it over and over so he won’t forget…out loud) This doesn’t mean that he won’t do some very odd things to get someone’s attention though. If someone is walking away and he wants to get their attention, he will not hesitate to tug on their hair, even if it’s almost involuntary reflex of his. He will apologize after doing so of course.
Raenef is the biggest crybaby someone might ever meet. Not only does he cry when he’s sad, but just about anything can get him to burst into tears. Like if he doesn’t get his way, or he really really wants something, someone insults him, he thinks someone doesn’t like him, thinking he messed up (even with small things), gets scared…the list goes on forever. He does not care what anybody thinks about his crying, as long as he is eventually told it’s all alright, or he gets his way. Either way, it doesn’t take much for him to cry. Even being scolded by Eclipse about crying can make him start to tear up.
Being who he is, Raenef is oblivious about many, many things that go on around him. Something could be as plain as day, and he would still have to ask a few questions. And he will ask questions to anyone, and sometimes very stupid/obvious questions, even if the person is trying to kill him! He really does like to know what’s going on, and what people are talking about, and will even ask people to stop and tell him what’s going on if it’s all going by to fast.
If a situation absolutely demands it, Raenef can act like the adult he’s supposed to be. Even though it will almost always happen if he’s learned that acting like a child won’t do him or the situation any good.
