Personality:
An incredible caring individual, Peter is the perfect fit to be a superhero like Spider-Man. He goes out of his way to help people he doesn't know or recognize, and for those that he does know, he cares for immensely and would do anything to help them the first chance he gets. The closer someone is to him, the more he would do for them. Saving someone's life almost comes like the default treatment he could give a person, so he would do more than just that for some people. Peter goes out of his way to get a job solely to help make ends meet for Aunt May.

He loves his family, and he's been shaped by the event that caused him to lose his Uncle Ben. That event taught him well, serving as the starting point in his career as Spider-Man. His emotions got the best of him as he got conned out of money he fairly earned, and out of spite, he let a criminal go. That criminal killed his Uncle, and now he knows that he can't let a criminal go no matter what. Peter likes to act before they do, just to make sure no one gets hurt ever again. It's that method of thinking that defines him, and destroys him.

As Spider-Man, he tends to shoot first and ask questions later, especially if the villain in question is a freak of some sort. He did this with Electro, despite the guy trying to adjust to his new body altering powers. Because of that, he drove Electro into becoming a villain with his own two hands, and it wasn't the first time either. In one way or another, most of the villains that Spider-Man fights on a day to day basis were actually created because of him, or in order to distract him from the criminal underworld. He feels guilty for that, and guilty for most of the actions he does that he grows to regret. But he keeps fighting.

Peter tries his hardest not to hurt those around him and tries to think in a way that he helps them, but sometimes he does the opposite and thinks selfishly without realizing how bad he can get. He's done this with his photography for the Daily Bugle, which causes Eddie Brock to go bad. He's done this with his friends when Aunt May had a heartache (no thanks to the symbiote). And he's toyed with both Liz Allen and Gwen Stacy's feelings because of his inability to decide on which girl he wants, and deciding to go with the girl in front of him instead of focusing on who he truly wanted. As Spider-Man, he's a hero. But as Peter Parker, he doesn't tend to think ahead and plan what to do when he returns from disappearing to become Spider-Man. That hurts those around him, and confuses them.

There's been numerous times where he has considered quitting the Spider-Man persona altogether because of the cons of it all, but he's realized that despite New York becoming a dangerous place, he helps contain that danger and stop it. If it weren't for him, Dr. Curt Connors would have been stuck as the Lizard. It's the lives that he saves and changes that drive him to be hero, and he knows it. It just proves how caring of a person he can really be.

Peter dislikes people who pick on others, or use others, or harm others for their own amusement or gain. People like that drive him nuts and make him so angry, and he hates them. Whether they're just a bully or a criminal mastermind, they're the type of people that drive him to fight and save lives. He would stop at nothing to stop them and set them straight if they have an ounce of good in them, otherwise they're no better than trash. Tombstone is a great example of the one man in all of New York that Peter hates more than anyone else, simply because of how he runs the criminal underground in New York. He's also a dick.

So is J. Jonah Jameson, but that's because he paints Spider-Man in a bad light. That just grinds Peter's gears. Bad.

He's also more than capable of holding grudges, and it's incredibly hard to stop him from holding one. He will never enjoy Tombstone's company, and teaming up with the guy was driving him insane from how sick he felt over the ordeal. Eddie Brock has made his shit-list despite the two growing up together as figurative brothers due to his actions as Venom and nearly killing Gwen just to get at him. Harry Osborn was nearly put in a bad light for Spider-Man because of how he was apparently the Green Goblin, but now that's nothing more than a suspicion that Peter feels he should always be aware of. Even his closest friends, when they wrong him or others, can be kept at more than arms length. The man who killed Uncle Ben is a good example of just how big a grudge Peter can hold.

In battle, Peter knows that he's not the strongest person out there. He's only 16 and rather inexperienced. He needs to be on the top of his game and observant, which is what Peter knows he can do well. He's smart enough to analyze people in battle and figure out what strategy to use. He uses it in everyday life as well, just to be on top of things whenever he possible can. But. What he does best is witty banter and almost messing with someone's mind just to get under their skin and let the battle play out his way. He's almost playful during battle, just because this allows him to steer the battle and be the one with the plan, rather than the others. Also, he just likes the banter.

What? It makes the job fun.
