First Person: A book used for talking through, how extraordinary! I've never heard or read of anything of the sort before. And by talking to it like this, I've been told that even I will be heard.
In that case, let me introduce myself. My name is Apple, a researcher from the Toran Republic. I know already that may not mean much to you, but feel free to ask me any questions if you will. I'm also interested in these different worlds people are from.
But if any of you happen to know me or of the Toran Republic, speak up and let me know. I'd like to see how many of us there are.
Third Person: How she came to be in the forest was a mystery. Apple awoke with leaves making a home in her hair, all guests that she shoo'd off of her with a brush of her hand on her as she got up. Of course, it soon became aware enough to her that those leaves were the least of her troubles, finding more mystery in the clothes she wore than her surroundings. A simple white dress, nothing like she wore or could imagine she owned.
And if that wasn't enough, there was one more shock that came, the next one as she realised a dull and heavy feeling at her back. At? On? She couldn't figure it out at first, waving her arm awkwardly behind her back and pushing in her back like it was an odd sensation she could make come off as she worried with her thoughts and surroundings. At no point did she think that she would feel what she did, the soft surface that her fingers touched - it gave her a jump, a complete different thing to think about.
She wouldn't make a point to admit it, but she turned, as if that would help her see what it was she had felt. It didn't, but lucky enough she spotted a small stream that flowed through the forest close to where she had woken up. There were also her clothes beside it, folded up with a book on top of them. It was somewhat of a comfort to see, but she didn't forget why she had approached it in the first place. So she had turned, enough to see what was behind her. Maybe she had thought it to be what it was as her mind made guess work, but it was a sight that shocked her nonetheless to see.
Wings! A pair of brown, life-like wings! How in the world did they get there?!
