First Person: Hey, Katara? Sokka? Zuko? Are you guys still here? I'm not sure how long it's been since I was last here, so could one of you guys fill me in? Is my glider still here? I bet it's probably picking up dust somewhere and everyone probably just forgot where it was when I disappeared. [At least I hope it's just misplaced and not broken.]

I mean, it's okay if you guys can't find it. I got my own now that I finished my airbending training! [He shows it over the journal camera] I just feel bad since I didn't really get to use it much the last time. [It's also really important to me as it was a birthday present.]

...I'm sorry about up and going the last time I was here. There really wasn't much time for me to say anything. If I could remember this place back home, I would have been thinking about you guys and hope you all made it out of this place too. If you guys are still here...we should catch up. And Katara, you can teach me how to waterbend now! That is, if you got the time and wanted to.

Third Person:

It had been almost three years since he last found himself walking the streets of Luceti. It was strange, he had never thought he'd be coming back here. Well, he couldn't have, he had forgotten all about this place when he was sent home. Now that he was here, all those old memories had come rushing back to him. At first, he thought it could have been a dream. How can you possibly make friends with people who are over a century in the future? After seeing familiar faces again, they reconfirmed those memories were not false. It really was nice to see his friends again. Sometimes this place wasn't as bad as how others put it. Though, maybe that's just what the Malnosso wanted them to think. Whatever they wanted, it was of little concern to Roku right now. The friends he made here were alive and well, that's all that mattered to him.

Despite how many years have gone, the place itself hadn't really changed much. There were new faces here and there, but the community itself still remained the same. The same shops, library, the barracks. What did catch Roku's eye was the Battle Dome, or what was left of it. It definitely wasn't here when he was in Luceti before. He was told a little about the dome and how it could make any environment you could think of. It fascinated him. Wonder if he could make an exact replica of his hometown. Maybe he could have a little spare with a Sozin too! He chuckled at the thought. It just wouldn't be the same as the real Sozin. He stared absently at the rubble before him, wondering how Sozin was doing.

It had been just as long as his disappearance from Luceti when he last saw his best friend. They've only been able to stay in touch through messenger hawk since he left the Fire Nation. He had hope he could see him once more before leaving to learn how to waterbend. So much for that now. He knelt down and picked up a piece of rock from the rubble. If he could still remember what he was told about Sozin's future, would he have been able change what is to come? The war does come to an end in the next Avatar's lifetime, he knew that, but he wished he could have been able to stop it from even starting.
